LINCNewOrleans is a community development organization that is committed to building stronger New Orleans communities: "Changing the World; One Neighborhood at a Time." We coach and mentor congregations and community leaders who seek to engage neighborhoods in activities and initiatives which serve the whole person, and the whole community. LINCNewOrleans connects a network of leaders and organizations working for community transformation.
Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) principles are foundational to our approach. We encourage our neighborhood connections to identify strengths and leaders within their neighborhood, and initiate practical processes to build upon those assets, and develop shared visions for community renewal and transformation.
